Roberson Museum and Science Center is a complex institution encompassing the Binghamton campus of museum and science center, including historic buildings.  In 1996, the Roberson Mansion’s carriage house was renovated as a multipurpose educational center, complete with Clayworks and a modern pottery studio. In 1994, the mansion and annex across the street from the Roberson Mansion were acquired by Roberson through a Decker Foundation grant to preserve the facility and is now called the Decker Arts and Cultural Center. Roberson offers unique museum and education resources in the Southern Tier of New York that are unmatched in the region. Some permanent exhibits include Voices & Visions which highlights the life stories of local residents through narratives, photos, artifacts and folk-art; The Edwin A. Link and the Air Age which features examples of pilots' clothing, early aircraft instruments, large scale model aircrafts, World War II posters and artifacts; and the Community Transformed: Social Change in Broome County which features a timeline allowing visitors to walk through to experience different stages of the area, from prehistory to now.
